Central Avenue was a monthly poetry chapbook and reading series out of Albuquerque, New Mexico from December 2002 to November 2007, with readings in the University of New Mexico, Nob Hill area. Central Avenue published well over a thousand poems, the work of 180 different poets from the Southwestern United States and beyond. Created by Cathryn McCrackyn, it was edited by Dale Harris with assistance from Robert Arthur "Bob" Reeves. In this website you will find archives of each Volume and be able to access individual issues at no cost. There is also information about a new anthology, Central Avenue Then & Now a community poetry experience, a mix of old and new poems by selected Central Avenue poets.  Enjoy the poetry!
